THE KANDY KINGDOM
BOOK THE FIRST Two 7th graders — Cassie and Landon — are transported to a magical world of candy that seems like heaven. All the sweets they can eat, plus hilarious candy creatures. But danger lurks everywhere, like snapping choco-diles and fudge-alanches in marshmallow mountains. Can these regular kids lead an army of candy creatures to victory in an epic battle between the good Sweet Treats and the evil Sour Powers...and save the Kandy Kingdom?

THE FOREVER FROSTY
BOOK THE SECOND In the sequel, Cassie and Landon try to save the Kandy Kingdom from freezing to death by venturing into a strange new world — The Forever Frosty. It’s a frozen tundra full of magical ice cream creatures, topping tornadoes, and the Wizzard of Blizzard, who might be able to help them, if they can ever find him. Meanwhile, in our world, they have to juggle their new algae-fueled startup, “Purple Power” and the unstoppable reality show, “Livin’ Olivia.”

THE DESSERT DESERT
BOOK THE THIRD In the finale of the trilogy, our heroes pursue their seemingly unstoppable nemesis, Tubba Bubba Gum, into a brand new world — The Dessert Desert. It’s a blazing hot desert full of baked goods critters, chocolate lava cake volcanoes, and the gigantic Scone-a-saurus. Can they vanquish Tubba in the ultimate showdown? Back in our world, Cassie struggles with her skateboarding team and Landon faces impeachment as student council president.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Gregg Millman is a kids novelist and former Hollywood screenwriter who penned the Nickelodeon movie, "One Crazy Cruise." He also created angsty teen soaps and post-apocalyptic YA digital series. When his kids started reading Middle Grade books, he decided he'd create a series for them. While writing the first book, his son, Hugh, gave lots of notes and even came up with the idea to do two sequels: one in an ice cream world and one in a baked goods world. 5 years later, when Gregg was writing those sequels, his daughter, Sandrine, took over assistant duties, also giving lots of notes and even doing some candy-themed artwork. When's not writing kids books, Gregg pretends to be a Creative Director in advertising. |
