Gregg's Bio (written by his parents)

​Instead of Gregg writing his own bio, we decided that as his parents, we'd be better equipped to tell you everything you need to know.  

So Gregg is a writer, even though we begged him to go to Medical or Law School. He could have been the first doctor or lawyer in the family! His Grandmother would have been in heaven. And maybe Medical School would have been a stretch – he’s never handled the sight of blood very well. But the way he used to argue with us? He would've made a fantastic attorney! What do we know? We’re only his parents. He did attempt to get a doctorate in Film History, but dropped out after one year. So much for becoming a doctor. 

Then he pursued his passion for writing, first producing news for MSNBC, and then moving to LA to write screenplays. We live in New Jersey, so we only see him a few times a year, which we’re not complaining about. But after all we did for him, to move to the West Coast? Weren’t we good parents?

Gregg worked on the writing staff of a bunch of primetime network dramas, most of which lasted 12 episodes, and one of which lasted 12 seasons. Somehow, he didn’t stick with the one that lasted 12 seasons.

Gregg kept at the screenwriting thing, and one of his screenplays was made into a Nickelodeon movie, ONE CRAZY CRUISE, which you can still purchase online! He even downloaded a copy for us, but we have no idea where on the computer it actually is, or if it's in a cloud somewhere. Anyway, we hear the launch party was fantastic (not that we were invited).

Fancying himself a regular Donnie Draper Junior, Gregg started writing for ad agencies. He mentions stuff like "social media" and "branded content," but most of it’s on the world-wide-webs, so we’ve never seen any of it.

At one point, he worked for Snoop Dogg's cannabis company, Merry Jane. Merry Jane! That's a reference we get!  

Oh, and he wrote a novel for 8 to 12-year-olds about a crazy adventure in a world of candy. It might not be “The Great American Novel,” but it’s definitely “American” and “a novel."

It all sounds just as important as saving lives in a hospital or arguing cases before the Supreme Court. We’re so proud of him! 

What else can we tell you? Oh, Gregg fixes our computers and Zoom, which both malfunction on a regular basis. So that might come in handy. Just don't ask him to suture any wounds.
