Role: Copywriter

Mercury Insurance was doing a limited range of content on their socials - mainly digital animations about how to drive properly.  I pitched them on shaking things up with a range of social content that would be more engaging and shareable, including IG polls, driver memes, and humorous series like "SUPER SPECIFIC INSURANCE POLICIES" to hit trending topics or big holidays:  "Office Holiday Party Insurance" for getting drunk and insulting your boss or "TikTok Dance Insurance" for getting the dance moves wrong and incurring shame.  The tagline: "Wouldn't it be great if we could insure you for that? No can do. But for Auto & Home, we got you."
